Save your dog!

It is no secret that a poorly behaved dog is no fun, as a matter of fact it can be a liability that (in extreme cases) can lead to loss of life (of human or dog). Majority of dog behavior problems encountered have their roots in dominance misunderstandings (between dog and owner). Establishing boundaries and enforcing same sort out a lot of these problems.

Retaining the services of an animal behaviorist/pet psychologist is not a cheap undertaking; currently, the average cost of doing same in Nigeria is Forty Five Thousand Naira for a 90 minutes session, and it usually takes about two sessions to identify challenges completely, and anything from three to eight more sessions to eliminate the issue satisfactorily. All the aforementioned will be a total waste if there is no follow up by the dog owner. The most basic fun activity between owner and dog is walking, and it provides a good opportunity to practice what a behaviorist teaches both you and your dog.

Walking also happens to be one of the most basic tools employed by behaviorists to assess and correct dog dominance issues. Observation of dynamics that occur between man and dog while walking, as well as between unacquainted dogs in a group setting helps behaviorists establish the best correction methods to employ while dealing with different dogs.

This dog is firmly in control of the leader of the free world...

We are offering you doggy meetups that incorporate dog exercise (walking), behavior assessment, socialization and networking at a rate of Twelve Thousand Naira (if you decide to pay on arrival at the convergence point), or Ten Thousand Naira (N10000) if you pay before the event. Everybody has to register before the event though.

Every Saturday, we will converge at a different location in Lagos with a maximum group size of Fifteen Individuals, there will be two sessions daily; morning (9 to 1030am) and evening (4 to 530pm). This inaugural Saturday, we are leaving the choice of location to population difference between those that like Ilupeju and those that prefer Lekki Phase One.

This event will provide you with a forum to ask all your dog related questions, meet other dog owners in your locality, help you understand your dog better and give you an opportunity to join your local dog walking club.

If you are sure you can raise a group size of at least Ten dog owners in your area/estate/locality, ease get in touch with us so we can offer you bespoke sessions.

Everybody has to register for the event at www.TailLords.com
